A TOUR TO THE AREA OF MODENA AND PARMA, WHERE YOU WILL TASTE PARMIGIANO CHEESE AND PROSCIUTTO, TWO WELL-KNOWN PRODUCTS ALL OVER THE WORLD.
Emilia Romagna, called Food Valley, is a rich and varied land of landscapes, stories, traditions and wine and food products among the most appreciated of Italy. Cheese and Prociutto are just some of the precious fruits of this land devoted to eating well defining the best Emilian cuisine in the world…this tour lets you discover these two famous products.
Your private English speaking driver will pick you up from your hotel in Bologna and you will first visit an organic farm, where they produce Parmigiano and you will learn something about its method of production, through a guided visit there. After the visit you can taste different ageings of our parmesan cheeses.
Then you will be transferred to a “Prosciuttificio”, that is a local farm where they produce the famous Italian ham. You will visit the farm and then we have a light lunch there, too.
